Abstract
While the federal A/E/C market is very large, it is not growing—and probably will remain stagnant for the next several years. Depending on how the numbers are counted, the market might be getting smaller. But there are some excellent niche opportunities, in areas such as retro-commissioning buildings, that will provide excellent opportunities for nimble firms. Even A/E/C firms that are trying to enter the market for the first time can succeed if they can focus their efforts on certain growth niches.
