Abstract
This article, published in a 2004 issue of Mechanical Engineering magazine, presents information on what at the time was a stand-alone GSA Schedule: Professional Engineering Services (PES). GSA no longer accepts proposals under the PES Schedule. Each part of its Statement of Work can now be found exclusively in GSA’s Professional Services Schedule (00CORP).
While there have been various other changes in GSA’s policies and procedures, many of the central issues discussed in this article remain valid. If your firm provides professional engineering services that do not fall under the purview of the Brooks Act, you might want to consider obtaining a GSA Schedule contract.
